Application tools and guides

Use this checklist to map application milestones, recommendation requests, essay drafts, financial aid tasks, and submission deadlines before senior year gets busy.

List your strongest roles first, use action verbs, keep descriptions specific, and avoid private information such as SSNs or account credentials.

Track the scholarship name, amount, deadline, eligibility notes, essay requirement, materials needed, application link, submitted date, and result.

For each college, track deadline type, due date, portal login status, transcript request, recommendation request, essay status, test-score plan, financial aid forms, and decision.

Ask early, include the deadline, explain what the recommendation supports, share a resume or activity list, and thank the recommender. Do not share account passwords.
